Mr. Drabinski is the Agency Managing Director of Business & Estate Planning for Bluecrest Wealth Management, a Dallas-based boutique financial planning firm serving successful professionals with self-employment income, primarily in the financial industry. He has over 24 years of experience managing investments, working in trading, portfolio management, private equity and advisory. He received a BS in Corporate Finance & Investments from Babson College and completed the Masters of Science in Financial Services and Accredited Estate Planner program through the American College. He has earned the right to use the CFA, MSFS, CMT, CFBS, AEP, RICP, CAP and CLTC designations. He and his wife Elizabeth live in University Park, Texas along with their four children. He is active in the community, having served on the Board of the CFA Society of DFW, as Board Chairman of the Moody Family Park Cities YMCA, the Rotary Club of Park Cities Foundation, the Board of the Dallas Estate Planning Council, EC of ProVisors-Dallas and contributes as an active member of ACG, XPX, EPI, the Dallas Rowing Club and the Christ the King Kingsmen. He has been recognized for numerous industry recognitions including 2023 Forbes Top Financial Securities Professionals, MDRT, Society 1851, Freshman 5 and was a finalist for the 2022 Emerging Impact Award through Invest in Others.
Served as Portfolio Manager, Head of Distressed Trading and Senior Credit Trader for Highland Capital Management from 2005-2013. Highland specializes in credit hedge funds, long-only funds and separate accounts, distressed and special situations private equity, and collateralized loan obligations (CLOs);
